Show coordination and running-order planning in Lahore
Prepare the production running order for a Lahore event, including entrances, microphone handovers, artist changes and sound and lighting cues. Clarify who calls each moment.
Turn the programme into a working document
A public programme tells guests what is happening. A production running order also tells the crew what must happen immediately before and after each segment. Add the start cue, approximate duration, people on stage, microphone needs and any playback or lighting change. Use one shared version and name the person who can approve revisions so the host and technical teams do not work from different schedules.
Make changeovers visible
Leave space in the plan for performers to enter and leave, equipment to move and microphones to change hands. Ask each artist for their technical contact and requirements before deciding how quickly one act can follow another. Identify shared equipment and what must be reset. A short technical transition can still need coordination even when the audience sees only a host introduction or a piece of background music.
Agree the cue and the person calling it
For entrances, speeches, awards or dance performances, write a plain-language trigger rather than relying on an approximate clock time. Decide who calls the cue and how that person communicates with sound, lighting and the host. Discuss what happens if an artist is late or a segment is shortened. Agree whether the scope includes a stage coordinator, a cue caller or both, and record who makes schedule decisions.
Send the outline before polishing the details
Include the event format, venue, date, draft programme, number of acts and the organising team. Add crew access, rehearsal and soundcheck windows if known. Hamid Sound can review the production requirements with you before the final scope is agreed. Keep guest management, ticketing, security, artist contracts and venue administration assigned to the responsible organiser or supplier; those responsibilities are not automatically included in a technical show-coordination enquiry.
