Start with the moments that need production
Tell us whether the occasion is a mehndi, wedding reception or another private celebration, and which moments need music, microphones or lighting. These might include entrances, family performances, a live act, speeches or a DJ set. Separate the confirmed programme from ideas still being discussed. A simple list of important moments gives the crew a clearer starting point than asking for a standard package without a venue or schedule.
Keep the room and supplier roles clear
Share the venue name, guest estimate, seating layout and the area reserved for performances or dancing. Identify what the venue and decorator are already providing, including any stage or installed equipment. Ask the venue about access, the agreed event schedule and outside-supplier requirements. The production brief should make clear which team is responsible for each part of the setup, rather than assuming every supplier includes the same items.
Prepare the music and cue list
Give each performance or entrance a clear name and the exact approved track version. Choose one family representative or planner to approve changes and call the cues with the technical team. If several people are performing, list their order and arrange time to check the playback before guests arrive. For live musicians or a DJ, request a technical contact and rider so their equipment requirements can be reviewed in advance.
Request the support you need
Send the date, Lahore venue or area, approximate guest count and the sound, lighting or stage support you want to discuss. An optional production budget in PKR can help shape that conversation; keep it separate from the total wedding spend. The team reviews the technical brief and confirms the scope and availability. Include the contacts arranging venue hire, catering, décor and performers so each part of the plan has a clear owner.
