Sound, light & stage in Mall Road.
Lahore Arts Council places its Mall Campus at 68 Mall Road. This is distinct from Alhamra Cultural Complex at Gaddafi Stadium on Ferozepur Road. When an organiser says ‘Alhamra’, confirm which campus and hall they mean before planning sound, lighting or the crew’s arrival.
Plan your event here
Use the hall’s own information
Alhamra’s Mall Campus has three named performance halls with individually published seat counts. The venue directory keeps those rooms together under the Mall Road listing and separates them from the Cultural Complex. Ask the venue for the current stage and seating plans for the hall you are booking. Do not use a photograph of an outdoor Alhamra concert to decide the layout or capacity of an indoor Mall Road programme.
Plan for the actual performance format
A spoken-word programme, theatre-style presentation, dance performance and live band need different inputs and cues. Send the cast or performer outline, microphone needs, music playback and any technical rider. Clarify what the venue provides and what the visiting production team must supply. Where a programme changes format between segments, include the transition in the running order so the stage, sound and lighting teams can agree how it will work.
Protect the rehearsal and technical-check window
Ask about access to the stage, backstage areas and the time available before the public programme. Separate the setup period from performer rehearsal and soundcheck. Identify the person who can approve a changed cue or running order, and make sure the host and operators have the same version. Confirm the venue’s arrangements for audience entry and the agreed finish with the booking team rather than inferring them from another event.
Send the campus and hall with your enquiry
Share the date, exact Mall Road venue, selected room, audience estimate and programme outline. Add the technical contacts for any performers and the support you want to discuss. The Hamid Sound team reviews the requested production scope and availability separately. Keep the venue booking and rehearsal arrangements with the responsible hall team, and share any confirmed room requirements with the production crew.
