Hamid Sound is based in Lahore and provides production services for live shows and events. Bring us the date, venue and shape of your programme. We can discuss sound for the audience and performers, lighting for the important moments, and how the stage needs to work. The first conversation starts with your event, rather than a fixed equipment package.

Share your preferred date and venue. The team confirms availability, production scope and price after reviewing your brief.

These venue and artist names describe past archive entries. They do not mean Hamid Sound manages the venues or represents the performers. If you have a venue or artist in mind, include their technical contact in your brief.

Get to know the space.

Compare published room layouts and capacities, then confirm the current arrangements with the venue. These are independent venue references.

Start with the space and the running order

A campus concert, an indoor function and a programme with several performers need different conversations. Send the precise venue name, a location pin and a few recent photographs. A wide view from the audience, a view of the stage and a photograph of the equipment access route are more useful than a mood board alone.

For a campus event, name the building or outdoor area and the person who can approve equipment access. For a programme with several live acts, collect each artist’s input list and stage plot. Mark the time available between acts, the soundcheck window and who makes final decisions if the running order changes.

Give the crew one clear version of the plan

Keep the event date, venue, guest count and programme together in one brief. Include the setup and finishing times, the main coordinator’s contact and an optional budget in PKR. If something is undecided, say so. A provisional brief can still identify the questions that need answering before a quote is confirmed.

When the plan changes, share an updated running order with the people responsible for the venue, performers and production. Name one person who can approve a change on the day. This is especially useful when speeches, a DJ and live performances share the same stage and need different equipment or lighting cues.

Build around the programme.

Tell us what happens on stage and what the audience needs to experience. Start with the parts of production you need help planning.

Live sound

Tell us whether the programme includes a host, speeches, a DJ, playback or a full band. Share the guest count and audience layout, including separate seating or viewing areas. The performer setup and audience area both affect coverage and monitoring.

Event lighting

List entrances, speeches, performances and filming requirements. A clear view of faces is different from a colour or effect reference. Include the venue’s ceiling or outdoor layout and any information its technical team has about mounting positions.

Staging

Explain how many people will be on stage, how they enter and where instruments or presentation equipment need to sit. Tell us about any existing stage. The venue and production team need to agree access, layout and the scope of work.

Before you get in touch.

Can you work at a venue that is not in the archive?

Send its name, location and technical contact. The archive is a selection of published shows, not a complete list of venues. The team will need to confirm access, the proposed production and availability for your date.

Can I book one of the artists shown here?

The archive credits people who appear in documented shows. It is not a promise of artist booking or representation. Share the artist’s production contact if you are arranging their performance, and the team can discuss the technical brief.

Do I need to know which equipment to request?

Start with what is happening at your event and what the audience and performers need. The venue layout, programme and technical riders give the team a better starting point than an equipment list alone.

Let’s talk about your Lahore event.
